When the session should stop
Updated 16 October 2026 · Bayo Fesobi · 18+ only
The house edge means a long sitting is more likely to spend money than to replace it. Valter Casino will not turn that into a wage. If the sitting no longer feels acceptable, end it. The controls below exist so the decision is not left to a mood at midnight.
Age is checked, not assumed
A profile stays closed until age can be shown. A photograph of an identity document can be requested before the first cashout, or earlier if the details do not hang together. A profile that belongs to someone under 18 is shut. Stakes on it can be voided, and mail to it stops.
Controls you can set without a speech
In the profile, or by mailing [email protected], you can ask for:
- A ceiling on payments — per day, per week or per month. Cutting it takes effect quickly. Raising it waits out a cooling-off stretch, so it cannot be lifted in the middle of a sitting.
- A ceiling on losses or on stakes — how much can be lost, or wagered, inside a window you name.
- A short pause — from a day up to several weeks. It is not cancelled early.
- A longer block on this profile — self-exclusion here. To block many UK-licensed operators together, register at GamStop.
- A clock on the screen — a reminder of how long this sitting has already run.
The desk will not talk you out of a ceiling. While a block is on, offers and marketing for that profile are off. Funds described on bonuses are still gambling, and the same ceilings cover them.
Patterns that mean pause
- Stakes go up to recover what the last sitting cost.
- The play is hidden from the people you live with.
- Rent, food or bill money is what funds the cashier.
- Stopping leaves you irritable or low.
- The sitting runs past the time you set, and it happens again.
One pattern is enough for a pause. Several of them are a reason to get help that is not this casino, rather than to fund the balance again.
UK lines that do not belong to this site
- GamCare — talk or chat, and the National Gambling Helpline on 0808 8020 133. The line is free and open every day.
- BeGambleAware — information, and a route onward to treatment.
- GamStop — a block that covers many UK-licensed operators, not only the profile on this site.
Those bodies are independent of Valter Casino. Reaching them does not pass through the desk on this website.
